MCS Database Integration

Overview

JobWay's MCS Database integration automates the registration of renewable energy installations with the Microgeneration Certification Scheme. As soon as jobs are completed, installation data flows directly to MCS, generating certificates that enable customers to access Smart Export Guarantee payments.

How It Works

1. Job Configuration

When creating a job in JobWay, select the relevant MCS installation type:

• Solar Photovoltaics
• Battery Storage
• Air Source Heat Pumps
• Ground Source Heat Pumps

2. Data Collection

Field engineers capture required MCS data during installation using the JobWay mobile app:

• Product serial numbers
• System specifications
• Commissioning test results
• Photo evidence

3. Automatic Registration

Upon job completion and QA approval, JobWay submits the installation to MCS:

• Pre-validated data ensures first-time acceptance
• Real-time submission status
• Certificate number returned to job record

4. Certificate Delivery

MCS certificates are automatically:

• Added to the customer's handover pack
• Available for download in the customer portal
• Stored for your compliance records
